What are you most passionate about?
Professionally, I am passionate about medical education, teaching and mentoring medical students and trainees in addition to my clinical responsibilities. I love traveling around the world for vacation. I frequently visit to see my mom and family in Bangladesh. I am fond of watching Bollywood and Bengali movies. I enjoy watching soccer and cricket whenever I get time.
What would you like your colleagues to know about you?
I have suffered from sudden esophageal rupture that required 9 hours of surgery while I was doing interventional call. I was lucky and blessed that I survived. I am grateful to my family and colleagues who supported me during my difficult time. Having suffered as a critically ill dying patient I want to emphasize the importance of work-life balance. We all should enjoy every moment and be happy with what we already achieved.
