Tell us about yourself.
I am an Assistant Professor and Director of Interventional Cardiology Research in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. My clinical and research activities are thematically linked and focus on complex coronary artery disease, understanding vascular aging, and promoting healthy vascular aging. A Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging from the National Institutes of Health supports my research and laboratory.
I serve on the editorial board for JSCAI and am currently Chair of SCAI's Women in Innovations (SCAI-WIN) Committee; and Associate Chair of the SCAI Fellows Summit for Complex Cases. In 2023, I received the SCAI-Abbott Early Career Research Grant for a project, "Concordance of Invasive Coronary Microvascular Dysfunction Parameters With Novel Myocardial Blood Oxygen Magnetic Resonance Imaging."
What are you most passionate about?
I enjoy spending time with my family, running, traveling, and investing.
